The idiosyncratic pop of multi-instrumentalist, do-it-yourself mastermind Kristofer Axén stands out with a super melodic style in a contemporary setting. His songs are sometimes structurally playful, sometimes to-the-point and always melodically dynamic. Also in contrast to the pop norm, multi-layered lyrics are often at the centre of the compositions. Axén’s 4th album Sun Pie will be released on Mara Sounds come April 11, 2025.
